Very nice rooms. Great views. Great food and service during the wedding. 2 down sides: during the wedding there was complete lack of anything to sit on these 2 huge terraces with awesome view AND the road which leads to the Quinta is very steep and narrow (not their fault, obviously).

This is an absolutely beautiful and authentic winery estate in a less crowded part of the Douro Region. The vilas are private and immaculate and even more tastefully decorated than shown in pictures (incredible artwork and antiques!). The gardens and swimming pools were a welcome reprieve from the bussle of Porto. The breakfast was a gastronomical delight every day. And the staff genuinely cared about their patrons. We can't wait to come back! A special thank you to Felipe for taking such good care of us, and for arranging a Duoro River boat tour with Full Adventure Portugal and for giving us a private wine tour (we will save our 2016 bottle of Rocaille for our wedding anniversary ❤).

My wife and I recently had our wedding at the Quinta do Outeiro which was incredible. The venue is stunning and the team at the Quinta was exceptional. What is so unique and special about the Quinta do Outeiro is the diversity of the various spaces where we were able to put on different components of our event. We had our rehearsal dinner in gardens which are magical, the ceremony in the main hall, the cocktail hour on the terraces, an amazing dinner outside the winery, and a reception in the main bar! The Quinta completely aligned to our vision and executed the decor and event flawlessly. We would recommend the Quinta do Outeiro for anyone who wants a perfect wedding on the Douro!

yes the view - but the rates have practically doubled since 2018 - was 75-85€ now 150€ why? We have been in this place twice back 2018 but won't return 2022. Reason: there are still alternatives with similar views, premises who haven't double the prices! The property seems to be a pure investment, nothing is originally, all remodeled. The pictures are bit misleading in my eyes. The rooms for guest are on one side, the "nicely remodeled" rooms are on the other side. As there is also a restaurant nowadays I suppose the investment concept is including weddings (for Brazilians?) and birthday parties ("eventos") . Stay away if your are interested in real original Quinta (family owned summer residences) you should choose another place for half of the price.

Very nice place and view. Room is large and comfortable but in the bathroom a lot of stink coming out from the sink. Breakfast service not well organized and slow. Not a good price.

Comfortable, quiet, and peaceful place. Adriano and Filipe were great help for our stay here. They went out of the way to make arrangements for us and ensured that we are well taken care of, e.g. Arranged taxi, tours, restaurant recommendation and reservation. Their new restaurant had a nice view of the vineyard and the food was exquisite.

Fairytale is the best way to describe our exoerience here. Helder was an amazing host along with the rotational staff. Had a chance to walk the vineyard and sample both the 2022 and 2016 Chardonnay along with Helder's favorite, the Syraz. Fantastic, muita 'brigado Outerio.
